Kitty Malone Keeling and I were married on July 31, 1971. Since then we’ve traveled over about half the world, lived in a couple of dozen places while in the military, and we raised two children.
Kitty graduated from Sam Rayburn High School in Pasadena, Texas, and attended Sam Houston State University and Central Texas college. She enjoyed a 28 year banking career until July 2007. She had experience in varied, ground floor operations, including service in state and national banks, a savings and loan and an international banking concern in Europe.
Kitty’s civic affiliations and honors include: Army Distinguished Service Medal; Officer’s Wives’ Club Board of Directors, Germany; Officer’s Wives’ Club Vice President, Germany; Waller Lioness Club Chapter Vice President; Waller Baptist Church Finance Committee; Waller Baptist Church Nursery Supervisor; Waller ISD Gifted and Talented Advisory Committee; PTA Treasurer; Waller Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors; Board Member, Waller Economic Development Corporation.
Kitty currently serves as Assistance Director for Waller Assistance & Restoration Ministries, Inc., a 501c3 charity dedicated to improving the lives and situation of those suffering hard times or disadvantage.
